Software development services
Reliable systems, integrations and APIs behind the interface.
The right fit
The backend is responsible for the information and rules that an interface depends on. We build services and APIs that connect web or mobile products to their data and to the tools a business already uses. Clear contracts between systems matter as much as the screens users see.
An interface can look complete while its data flow remains fragile. Requests may fail, records may be duplicated and integrations may behave differently under real conditions. Backend work addresses how data is validated, stored, accessed and exchanged, including the cases where another service is unavailable.
Our approach
We define API contracts around the tasks the product needs to support, then review validation, access rules and database relationships. Third-party connections are designed with their actual constraints in mind. Important flows include useful error responses and sensible handling of retries, so a failed connection does not silently create inconsistent work.
Our backend toolkit includes Node.js, Express, MongoDB, MySQL and REST APIs. Existing capabilities include payment connections and services such as Paystack, Firebase and Cloudinary where appropriate. These are tools for specific requirements, not a requirement to introduce a new dependency into every system.
Delivery
Review the product's entities, access requirements and existing or third-party systems.
Implement the agreed endpoints, validation and integration behaviour alongside the consuming interface.
Check successful and unsuccessful requests, permissions and deployment needs, then document the interfaces needed for ongoing work.

Yes. We review what the frontend expects and agree the contract before implementation. Changes on either side are included in scope.
Payment connections are part of our capabilities. The flow and provider requirements must be reviewed, including confirmations and unsuccessful transactions.
Only if the requirements justify it. Existing schema, data quality and migration constraints inform the recommendation.
